Amid the chill, Boston-based Stride Consumer Partners has closed its second fund with $550 million in capital commitments after about four months of fundraising. The fund follows Stride’s $420 million debut fund, which closed in 2022, and brings the firm’s assets under management to approximately $1.3 billion. Steve Berg, Stride’s founding partner and principal owner, says only two investors were new to Stride, with everyone else returning from Fund I, while another 30 founders and executives from companies the Stride team has backed also invested in the new fund.
